About the Author
Katarina Illona ("Katie") is originally from southeastern Pennsylvania, although she currently resides in Blacksburg, Virginia with her fiance and fur-babies. She a passion for animals, especially cats. Katie earned an undergraduate degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from Penn State Berks in 2016 and a graduate degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education Administration from Kutztown University in 2019.
During her free time, besides writing and illustrating the Bedtime Tails Children's Book Series, Katie enjoys reading, crocheting, hiking, watching TV and spending time with her fiance, friends and family...oh, and cuddling with her fur babies Perkins and Daisy of course!
Perkins
Perkins was rescued from a college campus, and named after the campus building he was found near the entrance of: the Perkins Student Center. He loves begging for food, chicken, cuddling with his Momma and ear scratches right at the corner of his ear!
Daisy
Daisy was rescued from somewhere in Southeastern PA and takes “zoomies” to a whole new level. She absolutely adores cuddles with her dad, playing with leaves and trying to catch the laser pointer...no success yet!
